Riverside County California with Dad

In February, one month previous to this trip, I made the same trip with a friend from Arizona and we found 11 red diamond rattlesnakes in sunny warm weather.  March however was the unexpected southern CA blizzard which made for a 2 snake trip.

San Bernardino Mountains.  This is why the trip was rather unsuccessful in the reptile department

Fortunately the trip was primarily a half way point visit because the herping was rather cold and miserable.
